I was hired to design clean, consistent spec sheets that aligned with brand guidelines while making product data easy to digest for commercial buyers and safety professionals.

The client’s original spec documents were inconsistent, overly dense, and not on-brand. They lacked a cohesive layout that supported product comparisons and customer decision-making.
Stakeholders wanted a layout system that would:
Reflect their visual brand across all apparel categories

Work as both a printed and digital sales tool
My Role
As the lead designer on this project, I was responsible for:
Designing a flexible template system for multiple product categories
Creating iconography and layout systems for technical data
Ensuring visual clarity, consistency, and ease of use
Delivering final files optimized for both print and digital distribution

I started by reviewing existing sheets, brand standards, and product requirements.

Auditing content needs across different apparel types
Wireframing a layout system that balanced brand and readability
Designing icons, tables, and callout systems for safety ratings and specs
Producing multiple sheet variations with consistent formatting and structure

A clean, brand-aligned header system with product identifiers
Standardized layouts for technical specs and performance icons
Sectioned callouts for product features, safety standards, and sizing
