Economic Impact Catalyst
Homepage
Economic Impact Catalyst needed a new homepage to unify its brand, product offerings, and impact narrative. I led the homepage redesign as part of a larger site transformation, creating a scalable, user-focused layout that could serve multiple audiences, from government partners to nonprofit leaders, and lay the foundation for all additional pages.

The Problem
The previous homepage was so unclear that new clients often said they didn’t understand what EIC offered. It lacked structure, focus, and connection between product and mission.
Stakeholders wanted a homepage that would:
Clearly explain EIC’s offerings and their impact
Improve first impressions for new and prospective clients
Set the visual tone for a full website redesign
My Role
As the lead designer on this project, I was responsible for:
Designing a homepage layout that merged mission and product clarity
Creating visual systems and UI components for consistency sitewide
Building scalable modules for case studies, features, and CTAs
Collaborating across teams to align design, content, and dev needs
Process
I started by reviewing user pathways and content priorities with stakeholders.
Key steps included:
Mapping a top-down content strategy based on user intent
Designing a flexible layout system with branded components
Iterating on hierarchy, messaging, and CTAs for usability
Testing responsive layouts for accessibility across devices
The Solution
The final homepage features:
A mission-led hero with direct messaging and call to action
Modular sections highlighting solutions, products, and outcomes
Custom iconography and proof points to support trust
Scrollable testimonials, resources, and navigation points
A visual foundation replicated across the full site
Results & Impact
Homepage became the framework for a full multi-page redesign
Improved user flow to Solutions, Products, and Demo pages
Resolved confusion previously reported by new clients post-onboarding
