Econimic Impact Catalyst
Product page
Startup Space is Economic Impact Catalyst’s flagship SaaS platform designed to help local governments and nonprofits manage programs, collect data, and support entrepreneurs. I led the design and strategy for this product page, with the goal of clearly articulating its capabilities to a wide range of users, from city officials to economic development teams.

The Problem
The original product page lacked clarity, hierarchy, and visual cohesion. It didn’t effectively communicate the breadth of features Startup Space offers, or how those features tie into real-world community outcomes.
Stakeholders wanted a page that would:
Clearly explain the product’s core value
Make complex features feel approachable
Help drive demos and signups by boosting user trust
My Role
As the lead designer on this project, I was responsible for:
Structuring the content layout and hierarchy
Designing all UI elements and components
Creating modular sections for scalability
Collaborating with developers to implement in Webflow
Process
I started by mapping user journeys for our two primary personas:
Program administrators looking to streamline data collection
Community leaders needing reporting and resource management
Key steps included:
Competitor analysis (other civic tech and gov SaaS platforms)
Content wireframing to prioritize key feature areas
Iterative prototyping in Figma with internal and stakeholder feedback loops
Designing reusable components (FAQs, testimonials, feature modules)
The Solution
The final product page features:
A bold, benefits-led hero section with demo CTA
Visual storytelling of platform features like grant management, co-working space tracking, and mentorship support
Animated iconography and data visuals to break up dense content
A flexible module system so the content can grow over time
Embedded testimonials and FAQs to build trust and reduce drop-off
Results & Impact
Helped increase demo requests by 22% within the first quarter of launch
Stakeholder feedback highlighted a “significant improvement in clarity and professionalism”
The modular structure is now being used as a framework for additional product pages
