Vance Lawfirm
Homepage and contact page
The Vance Law Firm, a personal injury firm based in Alabama, needed a fresh homepage to elevate their brand and increase leads. I was brought on to design a new homepage that would serve as the visual and structural foundation for the firm’s larger website redesign, with an emphasis on clarity, professionalism, and user conversion.

The Problem
The original homepage lacked visual hierarchy, clear CTAs, and consistency with modern user expectations. It didn’t reflect the firm’s authority or guide visitors to take meaningful action.
Stakeholders wanted a page that would:
Make contacting the firm faster and more intuitive
Highlight practice areas and team credibility at a glance
Set the tone for future updates across the site
My Role
As the lead designer on this project, I was responsible for:
Creating a modular homepage layout with strong conversion paths
Designing sections for legal expertise, client trust, and case results
Establishing a branded visual style to guide the full site redesign
Collaborating with developers and stakeholders on implementation
Process
I began by researching regional legal websites and mapping user intent.
Key steps included:
Building wireframes focused on clarity, credibility, and action
Designing reusable components for practice areas, attorney bios, and blogs
Developing a cohesive design language using Vance’s brand elements
Delivering a scalable homepage layout used to inform other site pages
The Solution
The final homepage features:
A bold hero section with lead-generation form and CTA
Structured sections for case results, firm credibility, and attorney intros
Scrollable practice area list and integrated client testimonials
Blog integration and clear navigation to deeper service pages
A modern, conversion-friendly design that set the tone for the full site
