The Vance Law Firm wanted to revamp their Careers page to better reflect the personality, culture, and energy of their team. I was hired to redesign the page into something visually engaging, human-centered, and structured to encourage more qualified applicants to explore and apply.

The Problem
The previous Careers page was outdated, plain, and disconnected from the rest of the brand. Stakeholders noted that it didn’t reflect what it was like to work at the firm or what made their culture unique.
Stakeholders wanted a page that would:
Showcase the firm’s personality and supportive team culture
Improve the layout and visibility of current openings
Increase interest from applicants who aligned with their values
My Role
As the lead designer on this project, I was responsible for:
Designing a new layout and content structure to spotlight firm culture
Creating branded visuals and iconography for each section
Developing space for benefits, open roles, and team messaging
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align voice and tone
Process
I began by reviewing competitor career pages and Vance’s own internal values.
Key steps included:
Wireframing a layout that introduced culture, roles, and benefits
Designing custom visuals and text modules that reflected team energy
Creating callouts for DEI, company perks, and leadership philosophy
Testing layout responsiveness and refining based on feedback
The Solution
The final page features:
A bold hero section with a team-focused headline and CTA
Branded sections introducing firm culture, values, and benefits
A scrollable list of current openings with direct apply links
Visual alignment with the homepage and other updated pages
A warm, modern layout that reflects the energy of the team
Results & Impact
Increased engagement with the Careers page post-launch
Provided HR and leadership a stronger tool for talent recruitment
Reinforced Vance’s brand personality across digital channels
